Join Online Early-Career Member

Early Career Members shall be persons who have received their doctoral degree within the past seven years (i.e. postgraduate students). This includes those in their first seven years after receiving their Ph.D. including those teaching as an adjunct, instructor, or assistant professor. Early career members also include any postgraduate student engaged at least half-time with a formal postdoctoral fellowship or traineeship, or who is in an intern or resident position in any discipline. Early career members may not have previously been a regular member in the Society. Early career membership is limited to seven years (regardless of career position), but may be extended by 1 year due to parental leave. Early Career Membership dues include an ONLINE subscription for the journal Developmental Psychobiology. Dues also include discounted annual meeting registration, access to the ISDP member listserv, access to the ISDP member directory for use in networking and is a qualifying factor in serving on the board, as an officer of the Society or on various committees. Early Career Members who are still Postdocs are eligible for ISDP Student/Postdoc Travel Awards. To change your membership type to Regular Member, please contact Joan Oefner before renewing.

Discounts apply for multiple year memberships for Early-Career Members, please view the dropdown list to select 1-year ($105), 2-year ($200) or 3-year ($295) options, as long as the criteria described above would still apply.

Members are encouraged to share their recent publications with the ISDP to have them shared via the Society’s Website and Social Networking sites.
