David Kucharski Young Investigator Award Nomination Form

This Kucharski Young Investigator award is given to honor the memory of David Kucharski, a promising young investigator in the field of Developmental Psychobiology.  Nominations must be made by a Regular or Early-Career Member of the Society. The winners of  this award receive a $700 cash award, an engraved plaque and will be invited to give a special presentation of their work at the annual meeting.

Criteria:

a. The nominee must be a current member of the society
b. The nominee must have a record of academic accomplishments and independent, significant and sustained contributions to the field
c. The nominee must have received their Ph.D. or M.D. at least 4, but no more than 7 years.

Nomination materials:

  1. A letter documenting the nominee’s research and scholarly contributions.
  2. The nominee’s current CV highlighting the nominee’s three most significant publications.

I confirm that my nominee is a current ISDP Member in good standing and has received their Ph.D. or M.D. at least 4, but no more than 7 years prior to the nomination. * If your nominee is not yet an ISDP Member, please invited them to join prior to completing this award application. If membership is not valid prior to the March 31, 2025 submission deadline the application will not be considered. Please note that eligibility may be extended by 1 year due to parental leave (per child). *
