David Kucharski Early-Career Award Nomination Form

The ISDP David Kucharski Early-Career Award (formerly the ISDP David Kucharski Young Investigator Award) is given to honor the memory of David Kucharski, a promising young investigator in the field of Developmental Psychobiology. Nominees must be a current member of the Society. The winners of this award receive a $700 cash award, an engraved plaque and will be invited to give a special presentation of their work at the annual meeting.

Criteria:

a. The nominee must be a current member of the society
b. The nominee must have a record of academic accomplishments and independent, significant and sustained contributions to the field
c. The nominee must have received their Ph.D. or M.D. at least 4, but no more than 7 years.

Nomination materials:

  1. A letter documenting the nominee’s research and scholarly contributions.
  2. The nominee’s current CV highlighting the nominee’s three most significant publications.

If membership is not valid prior to the March 31, 2026 submission deadline the application will not be considered. Please note that eligibility may be extended by 1 year due to parental leave (per child). *
